SKIN is a modern dance, music and installation performance created and executed by Vanier College Communications students Philip Fortin, Alice Tchaparian and Gabrielle Turcotte. Conceived an experiment of the relationship between music and dance, it has grown to become a full-fledged, multi-dimensional performance. It is an endeavor by each creator to meditate upon and express the consequences of cultural, spiritual, sexual and identity opression.
It is a one act performance in four movements (see Playbill).
SKIN will premiered on May 13th, 2009 at 2:00pm at Vanier College.
